Builders have a sacred trust. Wouldn't you want the builder who builds your new home to build it with the same concern for quality he'd have for his own home? The fact is that EVERY builder we've talked to about our foam has told us he would choose it for his own personal home. We believe that every home builder has a responsibility to utilize the best building science available for those components of the home, such as the foundation, framing package, and insulation system that cannot be upgraded later.

"House" Builders focus on cost per sq. ft. primarily and use the least expensive contractors, products, and materials available. These houses aren't built to last, but to sell quickly. The qualities of energy efficiency, comfort, healthiness, and quietness are compromised in favor of initial interior visual appeal. While they have a lower price, maintenance and operating costs, including utilities result in higher monthly cost of ownership than higher quality homes. These builders are in the majority. Apply the brakes before dealing with this type of builder.

"Home" Builders build each home as though they were going to live in it themselves, and give their clients the privelege of doing so. From a quality perspective, they are always looking for better ways to build, focusing not merely on cost, but on cost effectiveness. These builders would be willing to build the Superior Homes we make possible; they simply haven't found us yet. To see whether your builder is a "home" builder, before you put down any earnest money, tell him/her you want Superior Foam to insulate your home for you. The response will indicate how you should proceed.

"Superior" Home Builders have an uncompromising and relentless commitment to excellence. They have absolutely no desire to compromise on the quality of key components of the home that cannot be upgraded later, even though these components can't be seen by the homeowner. The marketplace may sometimes dictate that they offer the much less effective conventional insulation in order to be competitive. However, the integrity of these builders drives them to do everything in their power to build homes that will have enduring value. These builders have either standardized on Superior Foam Insulation or use their best efforts to persuade each homeowner to let us insulate their home. Their homes are the most energy efficient, comfortable, draft free, dust free, healthy and quiet homes available. Although priced slightly higher than homes of lesser quality, the extraordinary energy efficiency of these homes make them less costly to own and operate on a monthly basis.

Not all volume builders are "house" builders and not all custom builders are "home" builders.
