"We recently had a major remodel on our home and chose a high-end builder (Tim Jackson Custom Homes) to do the work. When it got to the wall insulation, Tim elected to use foam rather than batt or blown cellulose insulation. He told me that although foam was more expensive, it is such a superior product, it is worth the additional cost. That was when I met Darrell Wilson of Superior Foam.

As a Realtor and a homeowner, I was very curious about the foam concept and Darrell was kind enough to explain why and how it works. He pointed out some things about batt and blown cellulose that I did not know, so I knew my builder had made the right decision with foam.

In passing, Darrell mentioned that Superior Foam also does air-conditioning ducts. He really had my attention now! Our attic in the summer is like a blast furnace. There are no trees to provide shade, so the sun just beats down on the roof. In addition, our roof decking does not have any type of radiant barrier, so I would bet temperatures in there can hit 150 degrees on a hot summer day. The concept of foam on the A/C ducts made perfect sense to me, so we decided to give it a try.

The first thing I noticed right away after the foam was sprayed was our air-conditioning unit was not kicking on and off as much as it normally did on a hot summer day. That told me that it was not working as hard to cool our home and also meant that our electric bills would be reduced. The second thing I noticed was the air seemed significantly cooler coming out of the vents.

There is no doubt in my mind that the foaming of our walls and A/C ducts are not only saving us money but also providing a huge benefit to our quality of life.  I would highly recommend Darrell and Superior Foam!"

"We are very pleased with our decision to have the air conditioning ducts in our attic insulated by Superior Foam Insulation. Our home is only two years old and was built by a high quality builder. However, the home was not entirely comfortable throughout. In particular, our son's bedroom and bath, (which are the farthest away from the air conditioning units) never seemed to get the proper air flow. These rooms have been too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. His bathroom became "stuffy" very rapidly when the doors were closed. The air that came through the bathroom vent was very weak. But we noticed immediate improvement throughout our entire house after having our attic ducts insulated with "Superior Foam'. The amount of airflow quadrupled in our son's bathroom. Not only is our home much more comfortable now, we have also noticed a significant difference in our electric bill.

Through this experience we came to realize just how out of date traditional methods of insulation are, even in new, well-built homes. We wholeheartedly recommend Superior Foam to all of our friends.
